BUT we are also planning to release expansions with different time periods and cultures.

How many expansions we make and which cultures we choose mostly depends on our budget (:

Amazing game, I've been playing this before the winter map was a thing and the closest thing to a blunt weapon was a shield. I love physics games and honestly this has to be one of the best ones. However, there are some issues, the biggest one being just how much strain it puts on my PC. I have a new 3050 RTX NVIDIA and it gets it really hot in a minute or two. I know this game is pretty detailed and due to its physics it would put quite the strain on a PC, but I think you should try to at least optimize it so that it doesn't become my houses heater for winter lol. Other than that, I'd really appreciate more weapons, like a flail or a polearm/poleaxe, and different types of shields. Will gladly follow this game and its many updates, hopefully I'll be seeing this on steam too in a complete package!

Thank you! Yeah, we know, performance is an issue right now... but we are focusing on adding features and many of them are quite demanding.... BUT once we have a vertical slice, we can start optimizing it!

And yes, we will add "Weapons of War" soon!

Can somebody PLEASE tell me what body density is love the game otherwise though!

Body Density determines how much resistance a blade meets when it cuts through a body. Zero Body Density will make it feel like you are cutting through air... but you will still need to penetrate the body first (:

Ok so i played it for not that long and i enjoy it so much. But the thing is i'd like to do some finishing moves like with an axe lets say like chop the head or something when they are down and cant get up but when i swing my weapon i keep wobbling around is there any fix to this so that we are a little bit more stable enough to finish the job. Anyway absolute FIRE game keep it up dude!

Next weapon type to come will be polearms. Those will most likely include spears, halberds, pollaxes, bills, lucerne hammers, partisans, glaives, maybe bardiches and... maybe I forgot something... We will start working on those soon, so its all not set in stone yet

We will have falcions for sure. Our goal is to have all the weapons you could expect from  game set in 15th century Europe. Flails (both  ball on chain and the two handed ones) are a bit tricky, but we have functionality for them already. So we may add them at some point too.

Ranged weapons will come later.

for me, theres  a bug which makes the entire screen yellow when i try to play on any other map aside from the hall, is there any way to fix it?

looks like there is some issure between your GPU and post processing in the game. Hall map uses different post-processing settings, so it might explain why it works fine, when other maps don`t. Can you also try to set graphics settings to potato mode? That will probably turn off some of the effects. Meanwhile I will try to understand which part in partucular makes the difference.

I think is Ragdoll's arms too weak to hold a sword, it looks like it is mushy , can I change it? if not... why did you decide to make this change in the player's arms  

They were always like this (if I get it right). BUT I will change it some day.. I hope...

Now physics don't work as well as want. Heavy objects feel weird in hands. That mostly applies to Greatswords and Great Axes, because that the heavies weapons we have so far

please add a story mode i know it sounds weird but it would be cool to fight a battle and trying not to die but please add it.

Not so sure about story mode tbh, but there will be some more things to do except just arena, yes!

1.) Rerelease the old version as a separate game

2.) Improve two-handed weapon handling, both with two one-handed weapons and the two-handed weapons

3.) Make vertical, up-and-down strikes easier or more intuitive to perform

4.) Optimize, my CPU is heating my room enough for me to turn off my space heater on settings above Potato

5.) Add more points for dismemberment or injury, as in hitting someone in the middle of the forearm would either sever it at that point or cause a blunt injury that is less severe than a broken bone

6.) Make thrusts more intuitive, at the moment its usually either luck or speed that gets the job done unless the enemy is already down

7.) More guts, more gore. Hitting a limb sufficiently hard with a blunt weapon could cause a compound fracture and massive bleeding, and cutting someone in half should definitely expose more viscera (OPTIMIZE)

8.) Add clarifications to the game settings, its not very clear what "Body Density" is supposed to mean

9.) Add brain damage, hitting someone in the head with a great mace at the right distance and speed would almost certainly dent their skull and fuck something up. Would make helmets more useful too

Amazing update, good work man, do you think you could kind of level the head a little more so that first person doesn't end up turning my desk green. More armor would also be nice, gauntlets/arm harnesses would be nice. Very nice update, even nicer game, would pay for it.

Nice, but another question that came to me after commenting, are you thinking about adding *drum roll* half swording/murder stroke? like maybe you you press f and you right hand grabs the blade, I see the left hand sliding on the great ax so I think it would be possible. Also can't wait to see the full collection of arms and armor! ((:

For what's essentially a tech demo at the moment, this is lots of fun, and I love how involved you seem to be with the community, replying to lots of people and updating frequently. It'd be cool to see some levels or at least a level creator when you're done padding out the gameplay, something like this could be neat in some classic 90's to mid 2000's style campaign, just straight forward combat focused levels, thinking like blade of darkness and the sort.

It has potential to be unironically one of the best fighting games on this site, but the lack of polish is holding it back. And please, for the love of god, get rid of the "spam space to get back up" function. It's terrible

Also I have some activation problems with the thrusting cause it's a double click.

(I'd also like to see better dismemberment damage to were it actually cuts a limb off where I hit it and doesn't just phase through.  Multi-layer damage, deformation or hit decals, semi-dismemberment, one of the above would be nice to see. Get rid of the spam space thing please.)

what r theminimum requirements bae?

UE5 says it needs:

  • Operating System: Windows 10.
  • Processor: Quand-core Intel or AMD 2.5 GHz or faster.
  • Memory: min 16GB. Best would be 32GB.

But I am running it with 8 gb ram, and gtx860M

I dont got money ;-; if this geta in steam ill be happy cuz frankie gets what he deserves for his hard work but then ill be stuck watching youtube about this game but anyway good job frankie i love the new map and the new gore and stuff i think the stringy organs were a good touch love the skull crushing finale too XD keep it up and i cant wait to see even more gore coming with more weapons and maps and realism and if it would be possible the arms of characters keep breaking when I try and swing can it be stiffened a bit for slight easier and better hits
